I haven't been on here for so long. I have a couple of things, two nice things and one sad thing.
Thing #1: I've seen Gogol Bordello last week on Monday. They were amazing, the crowd went wild, they didn't play Dogs were barking, Sergey thought I was cool and I told Eugene I loved him in Everything is Illuminated.
Thing #2: Wing's brother Yuing died last week. He had cancer and he wasn't doing well lately. It's really sad and fucked up, because he was only 26. I went to his cremation, it was beautiful and heartbreaking. Everyone was wearing white. I feel so, so sad for Wing and his family.
Thing #3: I haven't really slept much since Sunday night. Reason: Soulwax. They were in Amsterdam yesterday. I lasted from half past 8 pm till 5 am. We got in for free, we got backstage passes and we had a lot of fun with Stefaan. Dave from Goose was very drunk and funny. De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig was also there, as were Lele and Aka the junkies. I came home this morning at 9 am without sleeping, so I went to bed. A friend woke me up at 1 pm and now she's coming over to watch a movie.
Rest in peace Yuing.

At whoever made the new classes. At the beginning of last year there were four classes, but because so many people dropped out they made three this year. And then more people dropped out and they decided to make two classes out of the three we had.
They said: "We're going to see who you work together with often and try to get you together in the new class."
Well that was a load of bullshit. First Laura quits, then Rachel quits and now they don't even want me in the same class as Anke and Freek. I am really, really pissed off.
So I mailed Manon to ask if I could be placed in their class, because I cannot finish school without Ankes loud voice and Freeks constant singing. ;_____;

My sis got a new kitten today. It's really cute <33 I went with her to pick it up from the shelter.
I was absolutely heartbroken to leave the other cats there. They practically jumped at you as soon as they saw you. They were all so sweet but there was this one cat that really stood out. It looked like the cat I have now, only thin and its colour was a bit lighter. It was meowing at me like crazy.
I really wanted it, but I can't have another cat.
It's just heartbreaking to see these cats look up at you like you're God, like you're about to take them with you and then you don't. I wish I could take them all.

:D:D:D:D:D Ik heb mijn propedeuse gehaald! Ik ben zo blij!
Oh en gisteren was !!! en dat was ook awesome en ze zijn ZO aardig. In ieder geval de zanger en de drummer :P We hebben echt drie uur met ze staan praten. Jerry(de drummer) moest heel vaak heel hard lachen en dat was leuk. Verder heeft Nick(de zanger) mijn iPod bekeken omdat hij wil weten wat voor muziek ik luister.
All in all, het was super! :D
Nu heb ik mijn assessment en ik ben zenuwachtig! Wish me luck!

Ik haat dieven. Misschien een beetje logisch, maar toch is het zo. Mijn pinpas en €20,00 is gestolen vandaag. Echt alleen dat, terwijl ik ook mijn iPod in mijn tas had zitten. Bah. Gewoon bah. Ik heb helemaal geen zin meer in school, het is allemaal stom. Maar ja, op het moment is bijna alles stom dus til er maar niet te zwaar aan :P
:O:O:O ZE TYPT NEDERLANDS! Ja ik wilde even iets schrijven, ik weet dat bijna niemand dit leest of comment, maar dat maakt me lekker niks uit. xP
Woh de laatste tijd luister ik echt belachelijk veel naar Rufus Wainwright, zijn stem is gewoon zo prettig om naar te luisteren. Behalve als je je een beetje emo voelt. Dan zijn de meeste nummers deprimerend.
Het is echt ernstig dat ik nergens anders over te praten heb dan mensen die muziek maken. Ik denk dat mijn leven gewoon lekker makkelijk is. Wordt ook lekker saai met LJ. Is het sowieso al een hele tijd, ik schrijf nooit meer iets, want het interesseert bijna niemand. :)
Ik ben een weekend weggeweest met mijn familie, naar Duinrell. Zoals elk jaar. En zoals vorig jaar kon ik weer niets afspreken met Femke :( Druk programma. Veel kleine kinderen die constant naar het park willen. En als je mijn familie zou kennen, zou je weten dat druk programma ook écht een druk programma betekent. We hebben zaterdag een toneelstukje gedaan, bedacht door mijn tante. Mijn andere tante had allerlei spullen meegenomen om je mee te 'verkleden'. Dikke lol dus alleen al bij het maken van de kostuums.
Tijdens het toneelstukje schaamde ik me kapot voor mijn moeder, die deed echt belachelijk. Ze mocht niet meedoen en deed net alsof ze het vreselijk vond. Ze kende namelijk alle tekst want dit toneelstukje hebben ze al tig keer opgevoerd. Het bleef wel leuk, we hebben echt te veel lol gehad.
Ik denk dat ik mijn LJ weer eens ga aanpassen. Een leukere lay-out ofzo. Dit is ook maar zo saai.

I'm a bit depressed. Laura and me were going to see Patrick Wolf again last night. Until her parents bluntly said "NO!"
She even got the war involved! Her words were: "If we can't come, Patrick won't play. If Patrick won't play, the Germans will be insulted and blame us. So they'll invade Holland." But that didn't work either.
We were going to make him signs for The Libertine, because every time we see him(which is a dazzling 2 times!) he forgets the first line of the song. And we were going to put in fun stuff. Like in stead of "The libertine is locked in jail" we'd write "The libertines are back together" and stuff like "Oh Maddie you look so good in those clothes can I be your best friend forever?"
Yeah. He said he'd be back soon, though. So I trust him on that. I sent his management a Myspace-message saying that if Patrick were to be playing the Summer Park Feasts, which are here in Venlo, my life would be complete. Which is true.
Actually, I shouldn't be complaining. I'm going to see Scissor Sisters today! :D:D:D And I really feel like it. I do wonder what it'll be like, going to a concert like this with my mum and my sister.

OK so I went to see the Fratellis yesterday and it was cool :D It was just too bad that most people there only knew Henrietta and Chelsea Dagger. But ah well, you can't have it all, right?
I got in for free which was even better, because I wouldn't have payed €20 for them. I got in via GEM, which is a Dutch band, who were opening.
The woman at the desk did think I got on the guest list via TMF. I was so insulted. ¬_¬

I bought me a Motel Mozaique ticket, because Patrick Wolf is coming and of course I don't want to miss out on him! I told my parents I bought a ticket to go see him, because I think that if I said Motel Mozaique they wouldn't have let me go. But that can also be my fault. Now I have to hide the ticket as soon as I get it. Heh.
Oh, and it's almost my birthday! :D Only 4 days away. -_- I'm way too excited. I've been telling everyone who wants to hear it how many days are left until my birthday. But still, I'm turning 18. That's huge! :P
And now I'm waiting for my mother to call me, because she needs help carrying the groceries back here. So I'm also waiting for the chocolate cornflakes she's gonna buy for me. Yum.
